Refund Policy – Dealnology

Welcome to Dealnology. We are committed to providing a secure, fair, and transparent marketplace experience for all users. This Refund Policy explains how refunds are processed on our platform.


1. Nature of Platform

Dealnology is an online marketplace that connects buyers and independent sellers offering digital services and products. We act solely as an intermediary and do not directly own or sell any listed items.

All payments made on Dealnology are held securely by the platform and are released to sellers only after successful completion of the transaction or buyer confirmation. This ensures a controlled and secure transaction process.


2. Eligibility for Refund

Refunds may be considered under the following conditions:

  • The seller fails to deliver the agreed product or service
  • The delivered product/service is significantly different from the description
  • The order is canceled due to valid reasons before completion

All refund requests must be raised within 48 hours of the transaction or delivery.


3. Non-Refundable Platform Fee (Buyer)

A 5% platform fee is charged to buyers on each transaction to cover operational and service costs.

This platform fee is strictly non-refundable under all circumstances, including:

  • Order cancellations
  • Failed transactions or deals
  • Disputes between buyer and seller

4. Seller Commission

Dealnology charges a 2% commission from sellers on successful transactions.

  • This commission is deducted only after the successful completion of a deal
  • The commission is non-refundable once the transaction is completed
  • In case of failed transactions or refunds, no seller commission is charged

5. Taxes (GST)

Applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) is charged on platform service fees as per government regulations.

  • GST is applied only on the platform fee charged by Dealnology
  • In case of approved refunds, GST amount will be refunded to the buyer, subject to applicable deductions such as payment gateway charges where applicable

6. Refund Method

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used during the transaction.

  • Refunds are initiated only after proper review and approval
  • Processing time may vary depending on the payment provider

7. Refund Processing Time

  • Refund initiation: Within 24–48 hours after approval
  • Bank/Card processing: Typically 5–7 business days

Delays may occur depending on your bank or payment provider.


8. Payment Gateway Charges

Refunds will be processed only for the product/service amount and applicable GST.

Platform fees and payment gateway charges charged by third-party providers are non-refundable and may be deducted from the total refund amount.


9. Seller Responsibility

Sellers are responsible for delivering products/services as described in their listings. Failure to comply may result in:

  • Refund to the buyer
  • Penalties, restrictions, or suspension of seller account

10. Fraud & Misuse

Dealnology reserves the right to:

  • Reject refund requests in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, or misuse
  • Suspend or permanently terminate accounts involved in suspicious activities

11. Dispute Resolution

In case of any dispute between buyer and seller, Dealnology reserves the right to review the transaction and make a final decision based on available evidence.

Both parties may be required to provide relevant proof, communication records, or supporting documents during the dispute resolution process.


12. Policy Updates

Dealnology reserves the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page.
